Next Discussion Online

We'd been bored reading things that we enjoyed, so we decided to pick something that we mightn't like so much, so we could say some nasty things. Cos everyone likes to be the baddy don't they? Well, it didn't take us long to turn our sights to everyman's flavour of the month, Dan Brown. Since we'd all read Robert Langdon's sophomore adventure The da Vinci Code (at least one of us enjoyed it) we chose Angels and Demons to cast our literary eye over. We hope you enjoy our thoughtful comments.

Slaughterhouse 5 Discussion Online

We've been away a while, but rest assured, we've been taking our reading seriously. And with the holiday season approaching we're looking forward to reading a little more. Two recordings of our thoughts on Kurt Vonegut's Slaughterhouse 5 are available. The first is an aborted effort that took place out of doors, and the second a successful criticism session from Glasgow's West End Paperinos restaurant. Among the excitement was a large spillage on Yorkshire Pudding's pristine white shirt. Both recordings feature book group novice, but literary criticism expert Martin Kenneth Donnelly who came on board cos he was coincidentally reading the same book we'd chosen. Enjoy!
